Precautions after the extraction of a tooth
- The gauze placed at the operation region should be nipped for 2 hours.
- Saliva and blood collected inside the mouth should be swallowed, not spitted out.
- The exterior of the operation region should be cold packed for 48 hours.
- For 2 weeks after the operation, drinking alcohol and smoking are banned.
- Please avoid taking a bath, going to saunas for a week after the surgery. Also, please avoid a hard workout, or an arduous job
.
- Please avoid eating hot food. At the day of the extraction, eat cool and soft food, and avoid using straws.
- Except for the operation region, the rest of the teeth should be cleaned by tooth brushing and mouth rinsing.
- The tooth at the front or the back of the operation region can hurt or shake a little.
- After registering at reception desk, please take a shot at the ¡°shooting room for outpatients¡± at the first floor.
- Ointments that are prescribed should be rubbed over the operation region.
¡Ø Bits of thread
- After the operation, bits of thread are left inside the mouth so don¡¯t touch it on purpose.
- Bits of thread( stitching fiber) are removed in 2 or 3 weeks.
